P&I 8600

This universal AC/DC, high-strength alloy is for all position welding of high-carbon, tool and die repair, spring steel, manganese, stainless steel, cast steel or dissimilar combinations. This product is also used for stud removal, as an underlay for hardfacing

P&I 8610

A universal, all-position mild steel alloy for welding low-carbon steel, sheet metal and general fabrication. It runs AC/DC, flat, vertical, up-and-down, and overhead. Use drag or gap, easy-releasing slag.

Tensile up to 84,000 PSI. Yield up to 69,000 PSI. Elong. Up to 32%

P&I 8620

This low-hydrogen, all-position, AC/DC alloy is used for welding high-strength, low- and medium-strength alloy steels. Its special coating resists hydrogen embrittlement and moisture absorption.

Tensile up to 112,000 PSI. Yield up to 95,000 PSI. Elong. Up to 23%. Sizes – Arc: 3/32”, 1/8”, 5/32”, 3/16”.

P&I 8625 Use this heat-treatable, all-position, low-hydrogen alloy for welding heat-treatable, low-alloy steels such as 4130, 4340, 8620, 8630 and steel castings.

Tensile up to 100,000 PSI. Yield up to 78,000 PSI. Elong. Up to 21%.

STAINLESS STEEL

P&I 8675

General purpose, low carbon, all position, stainless steel alloy for use on types This is a general-purpose, low-carbon, all-position, stainless steel alloy for use on types 301, 302, 303, 304, 308 and stainless castings. Features include AC/DC, smooth arc and easy-slag release.

Tensile up to 78,000 PSI. Yield up to 56,000 PSI. Elong. Up to 38%. Sizes – Arc: 1/16”, 5/64”, 3/32”, 1/8”, 5/32”.
Tig: .030”, .035”, .045”, 1/16”, 3/32”, 1/8”.

P&I 8686

This corrosion resisting, low-carbon, all-position, stainless steel alloy with excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion and carbide precipitation is used for joining and cladding 300-series stainless steels -- especially 316L, 318 and 319L exposed to organic and inorganic acids.

P&I 8700

Vertical stainless steel alloy runs equally well vertical or up and down. It has low-spatter, easy-lag releases and fast-freeze coating. Welds 300-series, stainless steel including 316L, 318 and 319L.

Tensile up to 80,000 Psi. Yield up to 56,000 PSI. Elong. up to 42%.
Size: Arc: 5/64”, 3/32”, 1/8”.

P&I 8715

This universal AC/DC inconel alloy joins and clads most nickel alloys, stainless steels, carbon steel and dissimilar combinations.

Temperature resistance from –140º F to 1,900º F.
Tensile up to 100,000 PSI.
Yield up to 85,000 PSI.
Elong. up to 40%.
Sizes: Arc: 3/32”, 1/8”, 5/32”.
Tig: .035”, .045”, 1/16”, 3/32”, 1/8”.

CAST IRON
P&I 8745

A universal, all-position, non-overheating alloy for joining and repair of cast iron. It is used to join cast iron to steel and stainless steel. High-strength welds are crack-resistant and machinable. Use on gray, ductile, nodular, alloyed cast iron and mehanite.

Tensile up to 80,000 PSI.
Yield up to 60,000 PSI.
Hardness – Brinell 180
Sizes – Arc: 3/32”, 1/8”, 5/32”, 3/16”.
Tig: 1/16”, 3/32”, 1/8”
Mig: .035”, .045"

P&I 8755

This highly alloyed, fully machinable, all-position alloy is for cast iron repairs. If offers soft, ductile deposit, high elongation and easy machinability. It is ideal for thin section repairs and its non-conductive coating eliminates side arcing in deep recesses or tight areas.

Tensile up to 60,000 PSI.
Yield up to 50,000 PSI.
Elong. up to 30%.
Hardness-Brinell 155.
Sizes-Arc: 3/32”, 1/8”, 5/32”.
Tig: 1/16”, 3/32”, 1/8”.

METAL REMOVAL
P&I 8765

This is an arc-cutting, gouging, chamfering and piercing alloy for all metals. It cuts stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, cast steel, manganese steel, copper and hard facing. It offers a non-conductive coating, easy restrike and minimal clean up.

Sizes: Arc: 3/32”, 1/8”, 5/32”, 3/16”.
Low-smoke version available upon request.

ALUMINUM
P&I 8775

This aluminum arc welding alloy is used for most weldable grades of aluminum and aluminum castings. It offers moisture-resistant coating, smooth running and easy slag release. DC reverse (+).

Sizes: Arc: 3/32”, 1/8”, 5/32”.
Tig: 1/16”, 3/32”, 1/4”.
Mig: .025”, 030”, .035”, 3/64”, 1# - 13# spools.
It can be used as a flux-coated aluminum brazing alloy.

SILVER BRAZING

P&I 8940

This cadmium-free, high-strength, silver brazing alloy with highly active and flexible flux is ideal for the food, medical and pharmaceutical industries. It is used on steel, oxidized stainless steel, copper, brass and carbide inserts.

Tensile: Up to 71,000 PSI. Yield up to 60,000 PSI. Elong. up to 25%.
Sizes: 3/64”, 1/16”, 3/32”.
Melting range: 1140ºF – 1200ºF.

HARD SURFACING

A large selection of gas, tig, arc and flux-cored wire alloys are available including: build-up and joining, manganese steel, iron, chrome and vanadium carbide.
